  1. Hi it’s Elle, it’s been a long time since I was last at St Anne’s. I’m currently now in year 11 in Holly Lodge, applying for places next year for year 12. Time really has flown by.
In secondary school, I found out who I am as a person and me interests, I’m not as shy as I used to be. Yellow is still my favourite colour- aw I remember giving Miss Prior a yellow plant pot when I left year four. I’m still working on my confidence and self belief.

I’m part of schools’ parliament so now and again, I see St Anne’s. Recently last week I did work experience in the town hall where I shadowed the Lord Mayor, I loved it a lot.

The roof in year 6 was amazing I have fond memories of me and my mates running across it, I loved the charity days, the discos, being a prefect and the time Leon Osman came into our school- ay I’m an Evertonian I loved the harvest and nativities, was once a camel and an angel. The opportunities at St Anne’s are amazing. The penguin in the office was super.

I wanted to say hi and thank you to St Anne’s, the ongoing support that your teacher’s give is incredible.

Thank you, All the best with love and kindness
    – Elle

    1. What an inspiring email Elle. I don’t know why you doubted yourself, you can and will achieve whatever your heart desires. Just work hard and you will get your rewards. I will have to ask Miss Prior if she still has the yellow plant pot. What a fabulous work experience to have with the Lord Mayor. Fantastic! It’s lovely to hear all of the memories that will stay with you forever and I’m so glad St Anne’s gave you the foundations on which to build. Do you keep in touch with any other children? Are you sure we can’t switch your allegiances to THE MIGHTY REDS?

Thank you for your kind compliments of the staff here at St Anne’s – it is much appreciated.

    2. Elle,
I still have that very plant pot on my desk! I use it as a pen holder. I am so very glad you are doing so well. Good luck for the future and thank you for your kind words.

  2. Hi Miss! Having a great time in St Hildas! I’ve joined all the choirs and got myself involved in 2 musicals already! I’ve come back and visited once but I didn’t get to see you. I am missing everyone terribly but I do keep in touch with some people from year six! The only thing I don’t like is the buses (which take ages if you don’t run for them). I’ve made lots of new friends and I’m getting more familiar with all the new students and teachers. I hope your new class are being good for you! I might pop in in a few weeks so I hope to see you soon

    1. Hi Cara,

This has absolutely made my day to read this. I am not surprised at all that you are in two musicals. You are a very talented girl. I’m sorry I missed you when you came to school. A few children have popped in to see me. I think Mikey would like to come back as he has been a few times recently. I have a really lovely class this year and they are working really hard. Who do you keep in touch with?

Hope to see you soon and of course we miss you too!
