We Met the Dragons!

As part of Liverpool’s first maths party, children in the city’s schools were challenged to design and make maths games or apps. Through a rigorous internal shortlisting process, a team of five, year five children submitted a board game. The game was shortlisted for the final and off they went to pitch in front of six Dragons who included some very important local business and education individuals!

The children were amazing and although their game was not selected within the final list of winning games/apps, they certainly made an impression on the Dragons. With a superb level of confidence, the children sang a maths song and articulately presented their game to the Dragons AND a room full of other teams from local primary and secondary schools. We feel very proud of our young mathematicians.
