Our Year 2 children sat beautifully as they watched a magnificent performance at the Liverpool Playhouse Theatre on Wednesday 10th February. They welcomed in the Chinese New Year – The Year of the Monkey by watching the Liverpool Confucius Institute’s New Year Celebration. They watched a professional Chinese troupe and local schools performing kung-fu, dance, drama, physical theatre and spoken word.
The afternoon was thoroughly enjoyed by all the children and staff who were thrilled to visit one of Liverpool’s well known theatres. There were cries of: WOW! That’s amazing! I want to learn to do that! Miss, they’re so clever!
