Training for parents/carers and professionals working with children and young people
The RAISE Team and members of the Liverpool CAMHS Partnership deliver an ongoing programme of training opportunities. Underpinned by therapeutic models, Liverpool CAMHS training is designed to educate and empower professionals, parents and carers as we strive to improve the knowledge and understanding of mental health among children and young people.

An awareness session to EMDR
In this introductory workshop, Dr Robin Logie will explain the theoretical basis for EMDR, summarise the EMDR protocol and describe how a typical session of EMDR takes place. He will describe the client groups for whom this therapy is effective and briefly review the current research evidence for the effectiveness of EMDR.
This session is relevant to anyone who wants to learn more about EMDR. This intervention is evidence-based and is a NICE recognised intervention for trauma and a number of other forms of mental distress.

The Rainbow Flag Award is a national quality assurance framework for primary schools, secondary schools, SEND schools and colleges. The award focuses on positive LGBT+, (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, plus other related identities), inclusion and visibility.
YPAS is now recruiting schools to sign up for cohort three which will start at the end of April 2022.
Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) is looking to invite children, young people, parents/carers and professionals to take part in focus groups to explore how this platform can meet their everyday needs in relation to mental health and emotional wellbeing.
The groups will explore:
The perceptions of the platform
What would participants want from this platform?
What do communities require, to ensure their inclusion in these technologically developing services?
The discussion groups will take place on 13th April 10 am – 12 pm
Refreshments will be provided and participants will receive a £20 voucher.
Young people wanted to have their say about mental health
The RAISE Team are inviting young people to join their YAY group. The group meets each Thursday and offers a platform to share their thoughts, feelings and experiences of all things mental health and emotional wellbeing.

The team at ADDvanced Solutions Community Network continue to support the families living with neurodevelopmental conditions in Liverpool pre, during and post-diagnosis.
What’s available? A weekly programme of Virtual Community Network Groups and webinar Learning Workshops for parents and carers of children and young people living with neurodevelopmental conditions pre, during and post-diagnosis and also to the professionals who support them while we are unable to deliver our face-to-face delivery.
