At St Anne (Stanley) Primary School we have six core values which are embedded in the life and work of the school and its community. They are; Honesty, Friendship, Understanding, Hope, Confidence and Family.
During our collective worship sessions we focus on one value each half term;
Autumn Term 1: Honesty
Autumn Term 2: Friendship
Spring Term 1: Understanding
Spring Term 2: Hope
Summer Term 1: Confidence
Summer Term 2: Family
These values are clear in our everyday lives and are reflected in how we operate in school, at home and into the wider community. Values are what we live according to and these are reflected in our day-to-day activities. Each of our Christian values is supported by a quote from the Bible.
Honesty
“And you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
Friendship
“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13
Understanding
“Trust the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5
Hope
“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” Romans 12:12
Confidence
“Therefore do not throw away your confidence which has a great reward.” Hebrews 10:35
Family
“Honour your father and your mother, that your days may belong in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.” Exodus 20:12
