Welcome to Year 6

Class Teacher: Mr Lineton and Miss Nurse
Teaching Assistant: Mrs White
* Tuesday bulletin:
All arrived safe at our wonderful and impressive PGL site. Met our lovely leaders and had a great first afternoon on the giant swings and Jacobs Ladder. Everyone enjoyed our activities and really challenged themselves. Had a lovely first meal (food delicious and good reviews by all diners) and played some great games with our leaders (and teachers) all evening. Everyone slept well and showed tremendous respect and support for each other.
All woke on time and enjoyed a delicious breakfast together – lots of nice choices, including a full English! Children and staff loved the archery and orienteering. All looking forward to lunch and raft-building this afternoon. Smiling faces, lots of laughter and great teamwork all round.
Some photographs of our adventures…

Our residential was a fantastic experience. We were so proud of all our pupils from St. Annes.
Everyone pushed themselves to the limit, tried all sorts of adventurous activities and mastered lots of new skills. The raft-building, archery, aeroball and the giant swing were some of our favourites.
We conducted ourselves wonderfully at Boreatton Park and loved our stay there. As we were leaving, most of Year Six said they would happily stay another few days if they could!
A big thank you to all our pupils who made us proud during our stay and a big thank you to the school staff who gave up their time to make the residential possible. So much fun had by all and so many amazing memories.
