Headteacher's Welcome

A very warm welcome to the website of St. Anne (Stanley) C of E Primary & Nursery School.

Our school is situated in the Old Swan area of the vibrant city of Liverpool. We are a thriving church school and proud of our very strong links to St. Anne’s Church and the local community.

The school was founded in 1914 and officially opened in July 1915. We celebrated being ‘a hundred years old’ in July 2015.

St. Anne’s provides a happy, safe and stimulating environment. ‘The school’s work to keep pupils safe and secure is outstanding’ (Ofsted 2014). We value the contribution of every child, encouraging them to develop as individuals. Our school offers places for children from Nursery through to Year 6.

Our hardworking and dedicated staff have high expectations and strive to ensure that our children not only achieve their best academically but become caring, respectful and confident citizens for the future.

We really value the partnership between school and parents/carers and hope you will take an active part in your child’s education. We also believe that our children benefit from the strong relationship we already have with the governors, church and the wider community.

‘Many hearts make a school’
