Every child from Years 3-6 were given the opportunity to register to take part in the Read for My School competition which ran from 19th January-20th March 2015.

Read for My School is a print and digital reading initiative that invites all children in Years 3 to 6 in England to take part in a two month competition which promotes, celebrates and encourages reading for pleasure.

In addition to the 150 books that were available to read online on the Read for My School website, there were also carefully selected Recommended Reads for Years 3 and 4, and 5 and 6, which could be found on the official website. This was to encourage children to look for the titles at home and in their school or local library or bookshop.

Last year we read a massive 184 books! I am sure we can read even more next year!
